Initial Meeting

We welcome you to visit our showroom to experience the beauty of the design, the excellent finishes and the superb engineering of a PEDINI Italian kitchen. Living in the Kitchen

Walk-ins are welcome but it’s best to call in advance and schedule time for us to give you our undivided attention. Please bring photos, a rough layout of your space and most importantly, your dreams of your ideal kitchen.

Our initial free, no obligation consultation typically lasts about one hour. We will discuss creative solutions to your design challenge and provide you with a dollar-range estimate of your potential investment in an exciting new PEDINI kitchen.

Design Process

The next step is to enter into a Retainer Agreement with you. An on-site visit will be made to take measures and assess the possibilities that the space offers. We are comfortable working directly with our clients or with their independent designer or architect.

During this stage, we will review finishes, overall cabinet layout, functionality of individual cabinets, organizational inserts, working towards creation of a final design. We will provide guidance if desired on alternatives for appliances and plumbing fixtures. As a Miele dealer, we can supply appliances that fit perfectly within the PEDINI range of cabinets.

The output of this process will be a set of floorplans, elevation renderings and a list of products selected.

Contract Stage

When we have settled on a final plan, a contract will be prepared along with a detail list of specifications. Once the contract is signed and the deposit received, the order will be placed with the factory in Italy.

Timing

Total time from order to delivery averages 16 weeks: Production 8 weeks. Ocean freight into Long Beach via the Panama Canal and to your job site averages 6 weeks. If your job site is not ready at time of delivery, local storage is available at a reasonable extra charge.

Installation

Assuming all the room is prepared and all materials are available, typical installation ranges from 5 to 8 weeks, depending upon scope of work and complexity. Cabinet installation can begin immediately upon delivery. At the end of the first week, the countertop measurements can be taken. Typical turn-around on countertops is 2 weeks. Following counter installation is approximately 2 weeks for plumbing hookups, appliance installation and installation of a backsplash.

Warranty

PEDINI’s warranty on materials is 5 years, extended to 7 years if you register with the factory and fill out the Warranty Card. A cabinet touch-up kit is included with every order.
